Catalog description
Develops digital drawing skills with 21st-century tools and techniques on the computer, on mobile devices, and in Virtual Reality (VR). Based on the mastery of traditional analogue drawing techniques explores modified approaches for digital drawing and for new, hybrid drawing skills in a virtual reality environment. Projects unite form with content that is derived from personal and cultural subject matter. Recommended Preparation: One or more of AMD 100 /VSAR 130, AMD 301 /VSAR 131, AMD 101 /VSAR 311, or equivalent 2-D design or drawing class from other colleges. Two hours of lecture. Two hours of activity. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: AMD 380-4.
