Catalog description

Explores video, art, activism and community service. Introduces current video production technology while using video within the community as a tool for social or political change, indigenous expression, cultural understanding, community organization, or advancement of social causes. Video projects relevant to communities will be identified, developed, and produced in collaboration with members of that community. Public screening or broadcast of work. Two hours lecture. Two hours laboratory. May be repeated for credit for a total of six (6) units.
