Catalog description

Explores the metaphorical power of materials and themes in art within a studio context. Covers themes that have been central to art-making in the past and present such as time, memory, place, language, body, identity, spirituality, and science. Develops technical skills by experimenting with materials. May be repeated for credit for a total of six (6) units. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: VSAR 301A and VSAR 301B. Enrollment Requirement(s): Completion of the lower-division general education requirement in Arts (C1).
