Catalog description

Introduces the computer as a tool for making art. Includes elementary two-dimensional design principles. Analyzes the work of contemporary artists utilizing the computer and digital imagery in a variety of formats. Creation of projects utilizing text and image. Two hours of lecture. Two hours of laboratory. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: VSAR 102. Satisfies GE area: 3A
