Considers leadership from an American Indian/Indigenous perspective including themes such as leadership that promotes tribal sovereignty, tribal knowledge, and social justice. Covers traditional approaches to leadership that are valued and have application in contemporary times as well as current leadership issues and challenges associated with the following: tribal sovereignty, self-determination, governance, decision-making, values, culture, and policy development and implementation.
