Catalog description

Examines financial accounting, managerial accounting, and accounting for the business in society. Discusses preparing and analyzing financial statements. Includes activity-based costing and management, and emerging topics in managerial accounting. Introduces the accounting information needed by the business for issues facing society, such as climate change, declining biodiversity, and access to water, accounting for governments and nonprofit organizations, and international accounting and taxation. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 601 .
