Catalog description
Explores data analytics as it pertains to accounting professionals. Provides students with an understanding of data analytic thinking and terminology. Students will engage in hands-on experiences with data analytics tools and techniques including Excel, Power Query, and Power BI often used to solve accounting tasks. Prepares students with skills necessary to translate accounting problems into actionable proposals and written reports. May not be taken for credit by students who received credit for: ACCT 482-5. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 306 and ACCT 308 , each with a minimum grade of C (2.0).
