Interdisciplinary Interprofessional Seminar 1

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce and promote the concept of interdisciplinary/interprofessional collaboration. Students will appraise literature for evidence-based care to support a clinical case. Students will prepare a written case report. Students will learn to prepare a clinical case for presentation, discussion, and the education of the entire health care team. Students will engage in case presentations connecting all disciplines within dental medicine and the healthcare team.
