Catalog description

This course provides students with an overview of orthodontics, including when to refer to an orthodontic specialist. Simple tooth movement and basic orthodontic concepts are covered. Additionally, this course introduces clear aligner therapy. Students will have the opportunity to gain the necessary manual skills and reinforce their knowledge by hands-on activities in the sim lab such as basic wire bending techniques, cephalometric tracing, and bracket placement.
