Catalog description

This course will consist of lectures, small group discussions, demonstrations, and laboratory procedures. The course design is to develop basic biological and mechanical concepts for successful endodontic treatment. The lectures will present all phases of endodontic knowledge that will form the foundation for future development in advanced endodontic courses and clinical care. The simulation laboratory experience will provide experience in performing endodontic treatment on numerous plastic or natural teeth mounted in blocks, and a simulation cavity format using mannequins with typodonts.
