PAL Education Seminar

Catalog description

COLL 489 is designed for students who are interested in becoming a peer learning assistant (PAL) for all CHS courses. It is focused on how to effectively facilitate a lecture, laboratory, hold a recitation session, and/or lead a study group. Key learning theories, teaching techniques and methods, ethics and professionalism, and cooperative learning are discussed, among other topics.
