Catalog description

The course introduces students to both the foundations and practices of Service-Learning, through academic study and authentic collaboration with a community partner. Topics include teamwork, reflection, intercultural understanding, professional communication, narrative writing, ethics, community research, mutual Service-Learning, narrative medicine, and transfer of knowledge with a focus on the health sciences.
