Catalog description

This course would address the need for students to become better acquainted with academic literature and how it fits into the larger body of global knowledge. Students would learn the difference between primary research articles and reviews, the role of controls, the parts of a literature article, and the interpretation of figures. Students will extensively practice how to read, comprehend, discuss, and guide others through scientific articles.Prerequisites: BIOL 120, CHEM 120, ENGL 120 .
