Cooperative-based Graduate Research Experience (COOGRE)

Catalog description

Provides a graduate level Course-based Research Experience where incoming graduate students will be exposed to cutting-edge concepts in symbiosis, applied math, computational biology, and conservation ecology. Provides students the opportunity to engage in team-based, multidisciplinary research exploring the relationship between various symbiotic models (involving the microbial communities in Leafhoppers, Bobtail squids, and Aiptasia, among others) and climate change.
