Catalog description

Introduces and studies a special topic or problem of psychological interest in the domain of biological psychology. Each class will have a specific focus which will be defined by the instructor of the course on a semester-by-semester basis. Includes gene-environment interaction, psychoneuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, the human microbiome and behavior, and advanced studies in psychopharmacology. Include both historical perspectives on the topic as well as recent, empirically informed theories and findings.
