Catalog description

Explores motion pictures or films as a medium to study human behavior and psychological phenomena. Studies how film provides insight into key theories of mental processes and behavior, and the portrayal of human motives, psychological states and disorders, and emotions. Film is examined as a reflection of societal perspectives on psychological disorders (e.g., mental health), and how it is used to influence the behavior of the audience (e.g., portrayal of health behaviors).
