Topics in Cognitive Psychology

Catalog description

Introduces and studies a special topic or problem of psychological interest in the domain of cognitive psychology. Each class will have a specific focus which will be defined by the instructor of the course on a semester-by-semester basis. Topics include animal cognition, memory and memory disorders, information processing, culture and thought, and imagination. Includes both historical perspectives on the topic as well as recent, empirically informed theories and findings.
