Catalog description
Introduces and studies a special topic or problem of psychological interest in the domain of social and personality psychology. Each class will have a specific focus which will be defined by the instructor of the course on a semester-by-semester basis. Example topics include personality assessment, personal and social identity, attitudes, persuasion, social intervention, and individual differences. Course content will include both historical perspectives on the topic as well as recent, empirically informed theories and findings.
