Explores how toxicology is used to understand how humans respond to chemicals in the environment and how the information is used to compute health-based exposure benchmarks. Toxicology is a multidisciplinary experimental science that combines chemistry, biology, and physiology to determine whether substances we are exposed to in the environment are likely to harm our health.
