Introduces students to injury related topics, including, but not limited to: motor vehicle and pedestrian injury, violence (gang, gun, domestic), and falls. Explores primary and secondary prevention concepts, as they relate to injury and violence. Emphasizes reading research articles and government reports and watching videos about featured topics. Highlights study and program design to increase familiarity to variation in investigation and prevention approaches.
