1 section
Catalog description
Covers current and emerging technologies for 3D Printing or Additive Manufacturing. Provides a deeper understanding of the main chemical and physical mechanisms, and engineering principles, for manufacturing high quality parts. Key materials characterization methods for powders (metals and polymers), liquid polymers (UV and thermoplastics), and composite materials are discussed. R&D challenges for broader adoption of Additive Manufacturing across a range of industry sectors, and routes for overcoming them, are investigated using actual case studies.
