Catalog description

Provides students with an introduction to health, how healthcare is delivered and basic skills to be successful as a future health professional. Students will dive into the current landscape of healthcare to better define their interests and goals. Topics include pathway planning, pre-health competencies, study skills, and contemporary health topics. Format includes lectures, guest speakers, panels, case studies, and discussions. Students will have the opportunity to join a mentorship program led by health professionals.
