Catalog description

Design of experiments (DOE) is a thorough and practical course that will introduce the statistical methods how to design experiments, carry them out and analyze data from the experiments. It is a rigorous methodology that enables scientists and engineers to design, conduct and analyze experiments with multiple input variables, or factors, on key output variables, or responses. Focus on how to design experiments (including both physical and simulation experiments), carry them out, and analyze the data they yield—particularly factorial designs and response surface for design optimization. Utilization of JMP and Matlab for design and analysis of experiments for application to both research and industry.
