Poetry and Justice

Catalog description

Reads a diverse selection of contemporary poetry in relation to questions of social justice, including questions around race, gender and sexuality, migration and citizenship, colonialism, and/or military violence. Students will gain an appreciation for poetry as an accessible, highly social, and politically engaged medium.
