Catalog description

Introduce fundamental principles of instrumentation commonly used in engineering research labs, industry, and hospitals. Techniques and principles of instrumentation include signal and noise, sensors, input/output elements, measurements and calibration. Cover how to measure voltage, current, power, temperature, pressure, strain, speed, irradiance, and humidity. Introduce briefly typical medical instruments such as electrocardiogram (ECG), pacemakers, electroencephalography (EEG), and x-ray imaging instrument.
