Catalog description

Focuses on the body as a central site for both the enactment of social power and possibilities for radical transformation. Explores through varying topics: 1) how racial representations, violence, and vulnerabilities are embedded in social, political, cultural, and economic systems that target the body, 2) the diverse, intersectional, embodied experiences of racial and social formations, and 3) the use of mind-body and creative practices for imagining and advancing justice and liberation.
