Catalog description

Provides a project-based introduction to the use of data communication to enact positive change in the world. Students work in groups to identify issues impacting the world and then work backward to develop skills and knowledge to move the needle on their identified problems. At the end of the course, students will have produced 1-3 portfolio level visualization projects (depending on the projects’ scope) and a communication plan for disseminating their work
