Catalog description
In this course, students explores the ways in which sociological knowledge and skills are applied to tackling various social problems and improving the lives of people both inside and outside of American society. Students learn about occupational opportunities which serve different communities, while developing skills in networking and effective cross-cultural communication to support them in becoming agents for positive change. Prerequisite: Take SOC-101 or SOC-103
