Catalog description

This 16-week course exposes students to the multiple realms of health and how each could be taught in the modern classroom. Principles of physical and mental health are explored, in addition to strategies how to navigate each on a personal and professional way. Theories of wellness will also be reviewed, as well as pedagogical frameworks to turn this content into K-12 curriculum. Classes will consist of a combination of lecture, practice, and discussion.
