Catalog description

Introduction to computer programming concepts. Using the Python programming language students develop problem solving skills by converting application specifications to running programs. Topics covered include: 1) data types; 2) control structures (iteration, conditional branching, expressions); 3) function definition; and 4) algorithm design techniques.
