Catalog description

A member of any journal may earn one unit of academic credit per semester for performing 52 hours of qualifying journal work. (Please contact the Associate Director of Scholarly Publications or your journal's EIC for more information). Members must regularly log their hours on the Scholarly Publications Track It Forward website and provide substantive details regarding their work. (The Scholarly Publications Track It Forward is separate from the Track It Forward platform used by the Pro Bono Program. Please make sure to create a new account using the Scholarly Publications platform). The EIC shall certify to the Associate Director of Scholarly Publications at the end of each semester the number of hours of qualifying work performed by each student and whether each student has fulfilled the Journal's requirements for membership. The Associate Dean for Research and the Associate Director shall review the EIC's certification of student completion of tasks and approve any grant of academic credit. Upon approval, the student shall receive a grade of "CR" on the student's transcript.
