Catalog description
An integrated course covering the laws of intestate succession, wills, and trusts. We will look at the historical development of the family wealth, but the emphasis is on modern statutory systems and contemporary policy. Topics include patterns of intestate distribution, the execution and revocation of wills, restrictions on testamentary dispositions, the use of will substitutes, the creation and enforcement of private and charitable trusts, and fiduciary administration.
