Catalog description

This class introduces Chicago writing style to students who are new or returning to academia. Important aspects include what is an academic writing style and why is it important to learn, what Chicago style is and why it is used, who should use it, and how the Chicago style impacts writing and learning. Multi-modal assignments and learning opportunities will be used to help students understand how to format research papers including organization, academic tone, citations and references, and how to get the most out of your manual. RESTRICTED TO UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
