Catalog description

This course is the third in a series of three to prepare students for their culminating capstone requirement that include the courses: CSS 6102 Understanding Research for Sexuality Studies and CSS 6105 Strategic Research Planning for Capstone. The course focuses on revisiting and refining students' capstone ideas and proposals. Students deepen their understanding of how to apply strategic planning to their capstone projects, ensuring their inquiry focus is well-defined and aligned with the content and objectives of their project. The Capstone Proposal Draft assignment challenges students to refine their inquiry, outline their project goals, and incorporate the necessary methods, ethical considerations, and context. This phase prepares students to finalize and submit their capstone proposal for review, setting the stage for the practical work in the final semester.
