Course Description: Historic and contemporary theories of the body and how they have been shaped by science, technology, and medicine. Interdisciplinary readings span public policy, philosophy, biomedicine, and critical disability studies. Historic and contemporary examples from art, natural sciences, and technoscience. Embodied experiments testing the theories in praxis.
