English translation from the Norse Eddas, the Volsung and Sigurd-Siegfried cycles, and the Gudrun lays; literary mythology in German Romanticism culminating in Wagner's "total art-work" concept and The Ring of the Nibelung cycle. May not be counted toward major in German.
