Course Description: Preparation for preservice teachers to work with neurodivergent learners who are required by law to receive special education within general education classrooms. Recognizing and removing instructional barriers that prevent students from accessing instructional opportunities by universally designing their classrooms. Emphasis on learning and applying evidence-based practices within a Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS) framework for learners that need supplemental support.
