Catalog description

Course Description: Analysis of material from various genres (literature, newspapers, blogs, TV, film, etc.) with focus on Chinese society and culture. Advanced reading, writing, aural comprehension, and formal speech in Mandarin Chinese. For students who have completed the third-year Chinese series ( CHN 111 -113), but do not have substantial background as heritage or native speakers of Chinese.
