Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SUAG 104 and SUAG 128 This course provides an in-depth exploration of plant nutrition, focusing on essential nutrients, their uptake mechanisms, and the physiological processes that support plant growth. Students will examine soil-plant interactions, nutrient cycling, and the impact of environmental and management factors on nutrient availability. Emphasis will be placed on sustainable fertilization strategies, integrated soil health management, and precision agriculture approaches. Through lectures, students will develop a deep understanding of theoretical models used to optimize plant nutrition in various cropping systems.
