Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SUAG 104 and SUAG 128 This course provides an advanced exploration of weed management principles, including weed ecology, identification, and control strategies in agricultural and natural ecosystems. Students will examine integrated weed management techniques, herbicide modes of action, biological and cultural controls, and the economic and environmental impact of weeds. Emphasis will be placed on sustainable practices, regulatory considerations, and new technological advancements in weed control. By the end of the course, students will develop management plans that align with ecological sustainability and agricultural productivity.
