Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing This course explores the transformative role of modern technologies in agriculture to promote sustainability, efficiency, and food security. Students will gain a high-level understanding of tools such as precision agriculture, remote sensing, IoT (Internet of Things), AI, robotics, and data analytics, and how these are integrated into real-world agricultural systems. The course emphasizes critical thinking about ethical, environmental, and social impacts of technological change in agriculture, while remaining accessible to students without a technical background.
