Catalog description

Three hours lecture per weeek Prerequisite(s): Junior Standing This course explores the principles of animal science within the context of sustainable agriculture. Students will examine animal physiology, nutrition, genetics, and management practices that promote ecological sustainability and ethical treatment of livestock. Emphasis will be placed on integrated systems, including rotational grazing, soil conservation, and water management strategies.
