Six hours laboratory per week Prerequisite(s): SUAG 104 and SUAG 128 In this experiential course, students will learn the principles and practices of farming. Topics include soil fertility, pest management, planting, harvesting, and irrigation. Concepts and skills will be applied in organic vegetables, berries, and/or fruit tree orchards depending on the season and farm needs. Harvested food will be donated to the campus community or sold at a farm stand/ farmer’s market.
