Three hours lecture per week This course is an introduction to soil science and is designed to provide an overview of the fundamental concepts in soil science. The topics include : soil genesis, soil classification, soil chemistry and mineralogy, soil fertility and nutrient management, soil degradation, and fundamentals in soil biology and ecology.
