Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): Admission to MA in Special Education and Disabilities Study program Students in this course will gain an understanding of issues surrounding the transition to adulthood for individuals with disabilities. Students will demonstrate the ability to conduct person-family centered planning, formal and informal transition assessments, and evidence-based practices related to postsecondary education, employment, and community living. Emphasis will be placed on self-determination and culturally inclusive practices.
