Equivalent to eight weeks of full-time student teaching Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Education Specialist Teaching Credential program The first of a two-part field experience that provides students with the opportunity to gradually assume the responsibilities of a special education teacher in a public school, including: teaching; assessing students; IEP development; and collaborating with parents, teachers, and special services personnel.
