Two hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SPED 345 Corequisite(s): Enrollment in a Credential Program Provides knowledge of how to work with students with autism in a K-12 classroom. Core challenges associated with language and communication, social skills, behavior, and processing and their implications for program planning and service delivery for students with autism. Meets the requirements for the added authorization for Autism, when taken with the CI Ed Spec credential program.
