Catalog description

Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SPAN 330 or Consent of Instructor Hands-on translation practice from English to Spanish and vice versa with a focus on transcreation, localization, and translation of specialized texts, such as marketing and advertising materials, comics, subtitles, and other types of digital content. Through a blend of practical exercises, real-world translation projects, and peer collaboration, translation skills are developed and refined in a supportive and interactive environment. May be taken before or after SETI/SPAN 420
