Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SPAN 201 and SPAN 202 ; or SPAN 211 and SPAN 212 or Consent of Instructor Explores the history of the Spanish-speaking regions of Latin America, from pre-Colombian civilizations, to the Spanish conquest, to the present. Students will broaden their knowledge of major geographical, political, religious, and literary aspects of Latin American culture.
