Three hours lecture per week Prerequisite(s): SPAN 201 and SPAN 202 ; or SPAN 211 and SPAN 212 or Consent of Instructor Provides a foundational understanding of the principles and techniques involved in translating between Spanish and English. Explores the nuances of language, culture, and context in the translation process. Through a combination of practical exercises and theoretical discussions, students develop essential skills to become effective translators, preparing them for more advanced coursework in translation studies.
